Training for the manufacturing industry: plants, maquila and line supervisors

Training programs for operators, line supervisors, shift leads, quality and safety staff and middle managers of automotive, auto-parts, maquila, food and metal-mechanics plants in Mexico. Short courses delivered per shift at the plant, live virtual or self-paced, with a DC-3 certificate filed with the STPS and Geedle Bot, an AI agent that answers questions 24/7 with the exact minute of the recording.

What does Geedle's training for the manufacturing industry include?

It is a catalog of courses for automotive, auto-parts, maquila, food and metal-mechanics plants that combines supervisory skills (line supervisor, leadership, teamwork, conflict resolution) with technical and compliance courses (industrial safety and hygiene, 5S, first aid, NOM-035, ISO 9001 internal auditor). It is delivered per shift at the plant, with a DC-3 certificate and Geedle Bot to answer questions at any hour.

01

Why is training so hard in a plant that runs three shifts?

Because the line does not stop and every classroom hour is a production hour somebody has to cover. Getting first-, second- and third-shift supervisors together on the same day is nearly impossible, long courses get cut short and operator turnover forces the induction to be repeated every month. We design courses as 10-to-15-minute phone microlessons, short on-site sessions repeated per shift in the plant's training room and practice on the line itself with cases from your operation: stoppages, scrap, absenteeism, a customer complaint. Training moves forward without slowing production and is recorded per shift.

02

What does a newly promoted line supervisor need?

Most line supervisors get the job for being the best operators, not for knowing how to manage people. Overnight they have to start the shift, distribute staff, give clear instructions, correct without creating conflict and report indicators to their production manager. Our line supervisor course works on exactly that: the shift start-up meeting, assignment by skills matrix, feedback on the floor, handling absenteeism and communication with maintenance and quality. It is practiced through rubric-observed role-plays and real situations from your plant, and every module leaves a tool the supervisor uses the next day.

03

How do we leave records for the STPS, the SIRCE and customer audits?

Every course records attendance, grades and progress on the platform and issues a DC-3 certificate to those who meet the criteria, with the data the company needs for its training report to the STPS and the SIRCE. The same records prove the training required by the STPS official safety and hygiene standards and support the audits of automotive and food customers who review the plant's training program. If your plant already runs its own platform or HR system, the e-learning platform for companies brings courses, records and Geedle Bot together in one place and exports reports by shift, area and position.

Artificial intelligence

An AI agent supports every participant during and after the course

Geedle Bot is trained on the syllabus, materials and recordings of your course. Participants ask in plain language and get an exact answer, not a generic one.

  • Knows every detail of the course: dates, syllabus, deliverables and certificate criteria
  • Solves problems in real time, at any hour, from Moodle, WhatsApp, Teams or Slack
  • Delivers the exact minute and second of the recording where the instructor explained the topic
  • Reinforces what was covered with summaries and review questions, and escalates to the instructor when needed
  • Shows HR which topics raise the most questions so the course can be adjusted

Training by position

Operators and brigades: industrial safety and hygiene, 5S, first aid and cybersecurity awareness. Supervisors and shift leads: line supervisor, leadership, teamwork, conflict resolution and effective communication. Quality, engineering and middle management: ISO 9001 internal auditor, business Excel and NOM-035. Each path ends with a micro-credential and the records stay on the platform by position and shift.

02

Simulators and e-learning for the plant

For practice that should not happen on the live line we have 360° simulators for extinguisher evacuation, first aid and plant onboarding, and online course production in SCORM with your procedures, stations and equipment. See also our e-learning for manufacturing and the ISO systems we support in certified plants or plants working toward certification.

03

Workplace climate, turnover and NOM-035 on the plant floor

Plants have their own psychosocial risk factors: night shifts, production targets, heat, noise and supervision under pressure. Before designing the course plan we measure the starting point with a workplace climate survey and comply with the NOM-035 software, so training addresses the causes of turnover and not just its symptoms.
