Corporate English: English courses for companies, by level and by role

We design corporate English programs for your team: a placement test, CEFR groups from A1 to C1, live online or in-company classes, business English topics by role, gamified practice on the platform, Geedle Bot answering questions at any hour and progress reports for HR, with a DC-3 certificate for every module passed.

What is corporate English?

It is English training focused on what your team does at work: meetings, emails, presentations, client calls and the technical vocabulary of their industry. Geedle's English courses for companies start with a placement test, group people by CEFR level and track each employee's progress with records for HR.

01

How are English courses for companies different from a language school?

A language school follows the same textbook for everyone; a corporate English program is built around your company's goals. We start with a placement test for each employee, group people by CEFR level and choose topics by role: meetings with headquarters, supplier negotiations, serving foreign customers or reading technical documentation. Live online classes are scheduled around office hours or production shifts, and practice between sessions lives on your e-learning platform. HR gets attendance, progress by level and assessment results on a single dashboard, so the program can be managed like any other training investment.

02

Which business English topics does the program cover?

English for meetings and presentations, writing emails and reports, calls and video calls, negotiation, small talk with visitors and technical vocabulary by industry: manufacturing, logistics, technology, finance, healthcare or tourism. At A1 and A2 the focus is understanding and responding in concrete job situations, such as greeting a visitor or following an instruction; from B1 upward we work on fluency in meetings, building an argument and professional writing. For managers who lead teams we combine the language with soft skills such as effective communication and leadership, because running a meeting in English demands both.

03

How is progress in corporate English measured?

With unit assessments aligned to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) descriptors, an exit assessment at the end of each level and speaking rubrics in simulated meetings and calls. The platform records attendance, completed activities and gamified practice, and HR sees progress by person, group and department. Each module passed can issue a DC-3 certificate with the STPS, Mexico's labor ministry. If an employee needs to prepare for an international English proficiency exam, we build a separate preparation module that practices each section of the exam under timed conditions.

How we launch your corporate English program

Five stages with clear deliverables; the first group usually starts in 2 to 4 weeks.

  1. Placement test

Each employee takes an online assessment of listening, reading and grammar, plus a short speaking interview, to place them at their CEFR level.

    Level map by department
  2. Group and topic design

We form groups by level and schedule, and choose the business English topics that match each role, department and industry.

    Syllabus per group
  3. Live classes and practice

Live online or in-person sessions with an instructor, gamified practice between classes on the phone and Geedle Bot for questions.

Why Geedle?

Six pieces of an English program that moves forward

Live classes, daily practice and measurement: what makes levels go up, not just attendance.

CEFR-level groups

Each employee joins the group for their level, from A1 to C1, based on their placement test rather than their job title.

Live classes

Live online sessions with an instructor or in-person classes at your company, around office hours or shifts.

English by industry

Technical vocabulary and real situations from your sector: manufacturing, logistics, technology, finance, healthcare or tourism.

Geedle Bot for practice

Answers grammar and vocabulary questions at any hour and suggests practice questions on what was covered in class.

Gamified practice

Short challenges, badges and progress boards that keep practice going between sessions from the phone.

DC-3 certificate

Each module passed can issue a DC-3 certificate with the STPS, with the records stored on the platform.

A corporate English program versus standalone classes

The difference is in the assessment, the measurement and the focus on the job.

  • Emails and reports reviewed with written feedback
  • Customer and supplier calls rehearsed in pairs
  • Technical vocabulary from your industry built into every unit

Three ways to practice outside class

Levels go up with steady practice; that is why every class continues on the platform.

Role-based microlessons

Role-based microlessons

Short 5-to-10-minute videos and exercises with the exact vocabulary and phrases that each department uses in its daily work, on any device.

Gamified challenges

Gamified challenges

Badges, practice streaks and friendly group challenges that turn review into a daily routine instead of one more pending task.

Geedle Bot in English

Geedle Bot in English

Answers grammar questions, suggests practice questions and points to the exact minute of the recorded class where the topic was explained.

01

Platform and corporate university

The English program can be one more school within your corporate university, on the same e-learning platform for companies where your team takes the rest of its training. Employees see their English path, technical courses and certificates in one place, and HR reports everything from the same dashboard without integrating separate systems.

02

Soft skills and sales

Combine the language with effective communication and negotiation, or with sales training for companies if your sales team serves customers in English. Sales and negotiation role-plays can be run in English with the same rubric, so sellers practice the technique and the language in a single session and managers coach both at once.

03

Micro-credentials and training plan

Recognize every level passed with verifiable micro-credentials that employees can share, and include the English program in your STPS training plan and program. The DC-3 certificates for each module are stored on the platform and ready to report whenever you need them, for example during an inspection or the yearly review of the plan.

In-person classes where we have instructors and live online classes for teams across Mexico.
