CONOCER certification: get ready to certify in competency standards

We prepare you for CONOCER certification in the competency standards trainers and training departments ask for most: EC0217.01, EC0301 and EC0366. We handle alignment, hands-on training, a mock assessment and the evidence portfolio, and we coordinate your assessment with an accredited Certification and Assessment Entity, which manages the official certificate.

What is CONOCER certification?

It is official recognition that a person is competent in a job function, according to a competency standard registered with CONOCER, Mexico's competency standards council. An accredited Certification and Assessment Entity assesses you, and the CONOCER-SEP certificate is valid across Mexico. Geedle does not issue it: we prepare you and support you through the assessment.

With an assessment we review which criteria of the competency standard you already meet and which you do not: performances, products and knowledge. With that we build a tailored preparation plan, without repeating what you already master.

Training and mock assessment

You practice the performances the standard requires with feedback from specialists, prepare the products (course outlines, assessment instruments, learning materials) and go through a complete mock assessment under conditions close to the real one, so nothing on the day is new.

Assessment with an accredited entity

We coordinate your assessment with an accredited Certification and Assessment Entity. It assesses you, issues the ruling and processes the certificate with CONOCER if you are found competent. We support you with dates, requirements and evidence delivery.

Which competency standard is right for your CONOCER certification?

It depends on what you do. If you teach courses to groups, the EC0217.01 standard, for delivering in-person training courses, is the most common starting point. If you also design the courses you teach, EC0301, for designing human capital training courses, completes the profile. If you produce online courses, EC0366, for developing online courses, fits that work. Many trainers follow that sequence over time. What does Geedle do and what does the Certification and Assessment Entity do?

The separation matters, and it is worth being clear about it from the start. Geedle prepares: assessment against the standard, hands-on training, a mock competency assessment and assembly of the evidence portfolio. The Certification and Assessment Entity, accredited by CONOCER, assesses independently, issues the ruling and manages the CONOCER-SEP certificate. Geedle is not a certifying entity and does not guarantee the outcome; we coordinate with accredited entities so your process runs in order and without surprises. To prepare in-house trainers we combine this support with our train-the-trainer program, which builds the practical foundation.

What evidence does a competency assessment require?

Each standard defines three types of evidence. Performances: what the assessor observes while you teach, design or develop. Products: documents you deliver, such as course outlines, assessment instruments, participant manuals or a working online course. Knowledge: what you answer in a questionnaire. We help make sure each product meets the standard's criteria and organize the portfolio so the assessor finds everything without searching. If your team produces online courses for EC0366, the work draws on our instructional design practice and on a real platform where the course actually runs for learners.

Train-the-trainer and instructional design

If your trainers do not have the basics yet, start with train-the-trainer and the instructional design course. Both build the competencies later assessed in the EC0217.01 and EC0301 standards, issue DC-3 certificates with the STPS and leave products that work as a solid starting point for your evidence portfolio and the assessment.

Online course production

For EC0366 you need a real, working online course. Our instructional design team helps you build it on an e-learning platform, with structure, activities, resources and assessments that meet the standard's criteria, so the same course serves your company's training needs and also works as evidence for the official assessment.

Micro-credentials and teachers
