AI for developers course for companies

An artificial-intelligence course for development teams that already write code and want to bring coding assistants, agentic IDEs and language models into their daily work without losing quality or control. We work on your own stack and repositories, with hands-on practice in every session, an AI agent that supports participants between classes, and a DC-3 certificate filed with Mexico's STPS.

AI for developers course

What is the AI for developers course?

It is a 20-hour program for developers that teaches how to work with coding assistants and agentic IDEs, write effective prompts to generate and refactor code, build applications with LLM APIs and RAG, and test, secure and properly license generated code. It runs live virtual, on-site or self-paced and includes a DC-3 certificate.

What your team will be able to do

Learning objectives observable on the job.

  • Code with AI assistants

Use coding assistants and agentic IDEs to generate, explain, refactor and document code while staying in control.

  • Write prompts for code

Provide context, constraints and examples to get correct, idiomatic code consistent with the project.

  • Build with LLM APIs and RAG

Integrate language models into applications, with retrieval of context from your own documents.

  • Test, secure and license

Validate generated code, prevent data and secret leaks, and respect licenses and intellectual property.

Syllabus

Course syllabus

Six modules; each one leaves a deliverable you can apply in your operation.

  1. How language models work for code

Tokens, context window, temperature, hallucinations and limits. What to ask a model and what not to.

    Working glossary
  2. Coding assistants and agentic IDEs

Autocomplete, chat over the repository, agents that edit multiple files and run tests. Workflow and review.

    Assistant workflow
  3. Prompt engineering for code

Project context, rules files, specifications, examples and task decomposition. Guided refactors and migrations.

    Project rules file
  4. LLM APIs in your applications

API calls, system messages, structured outputs, tool calling, cost and latency.

    LLM microservice
  5. RAG: retrieval over your own data

Chunking, embeddings, vector databases, retrieval and evaluating answers over your own documentation.

    RAG prototype
  6. Testing, security and licensing

Testing generated code, prompt injection, secrets and sensitive data, licenses and an internal usage policy.

    Team AI-use policy

Who is this course for?

Backend, frontend and full-stack developers, data engineers, QA engineers and tech leads who want to adopt AI with good judgment. Experience programming in at least one language is required; no prior experience with language models is needed. Exercises are done in the language and environment your team already uses.

02

What changes in the team after the course?

Less time on boilerplate and more on design and review, pull requests with generated and reviewed tests, an internal guide for using AI assistants with security and licensing rules, and a first working prototype using an LLM API or RAG over your company's data. Everything is documented so the knowledge stays with the team.

An AI agent supports every participant during and after the course

Geedle Bot is trained on the syllabus, materials and recordings of your course. Participants ask in plain language and get an exact answer, not a generic one.

  • Knows every detail of the course: dates, syllabus, deliverables and certificate criteria
  • Solves problems in real time, at any hour, from Moodle, WhatsApp, Teams or Slack
  • Delivers the exact minute and second of the recording where the instructor explained the topic
  • Reinforces what was covered with summaries and review questions, and escalates to the instructor when needed
  • Shows HR which topics raise the most questions so the course can be adjusted

Which format suits each course?

All of them issue a DC-3 certificate and leave records on the platform; what changes is how people practice and how the calendar is organized.
